What a whirlwind 2014 was. It saw many triumphs, but it also saw a lot of heartache… Heartache that I am still trying to deal with. I think this is the first New Year that I am happily saying goodbye and welcoming a new beginning.
I have big plans for 2015.
I have spent the last two weeks at home with my family and it has been wonderful. I feel so refreshed and so blessed. Some days we stayed in our PJ’s, and others we hit the lake for some skating adventures. As amazing as these few weeks have been, it has made me realize what I’m missing out on when I tip-toe out of the house at 4:30am to go to work. I forgot how much I love having breakfast with Olive every morning or creating morning adventures in our living room. This time is so precious. I don’t want to loose it.
To start 2015 on the right foot, I am not going to take time for granted!
December was such a busy month. I barely had any time to post on my blog. Between Olive fighting another bad bladder infection and getting ready for Christmas, I just couldn’t find the time! Now that the holidays are over, decorations are away, and life is resuming as normal, I hope to be back on a regular posting schedule!
For now I leave you with this:
I am thankful for nights that turned into mornings, friends that turned into family, and dreams that turned into reality. Happy New Year, friends! Heres to a year full of new adventures and time well spent!
